@lello58 it sounds like you double included the vcgt, make sure you disable the vcgt when generating the LUT… If this is not the case I’m not sure what is going on, you might want to create an issue ticket at http://www.github.com/eoyilmaz/displaycal-py3/issues

Having already disabled the VCGT, I regenerated the LUT as a precaution, first ensuring once again that the VCGT was disabled. However, the blue cast reappeared. Before opening an issue on GitHub, I performed a new calibration using version 16. This time, the verification reported that all the data was incorrect, and after loading the LUT into JRiver, the blue cast occurred again. Consequently, I believe the problem is not related to the new version, but I am unable to determine what may have caused it. Thanks to anyone who can help me understand.

After many failed attempts, I finally tried uninstalling v17 and trying the official version 3.8.9.3, and this time everything worked fine. However, I discovered that Display & Instrument no longer showed the generic monitor, but rather my receiver to which the projector is connected. Should I assume this is the cause of all my problems? Do the new versions not correctly recognize the display to be profiled?

I have come to the forum after a while so please excuse my questions, especially if they have already been answered within the thread.

Does the latest version of DisplayCal work on both Mac OS Sequoia (M4) and Windows 11?

I presume the latest version of HCFR runs on Windows 11, is that right?

Does the latest version of DisplayCal (Mac or Windows but preferably Windows 11) work well with the MadVR Envy range of processors?

HCFR runs on Windows 11.   The newest version is not on github.   It is in the hcfr thread on avsforum.   3.5.4.4 is latest hcfr.   He said he fixed the links but I still could not get it.   I have the new version though.     https://www.avsforum.com/threads/hcfr-open-source-projector-and-display-calibration-software.1393853/page-851#replies   .    Red changes depending on the angle of the meter on my screen.    It is why after calibrate it the next day it is off.   Sometimes I put he meter exactly the same and red is not off then.    Or the device and screen have to be warmed up.   Maybe the tv self calibrates.   Could not resist posting my calibration as attachments.

Thankfully the link is now fixed on the AVSForum post. Before that, I was stuck using v3.5.4.2 because there was nowhere on the internet with the release files, not even the fork’s own GitHub page. I made sure to archive everything on the Wayback Machine in case the updated link stops working, so there’s no need to worry about it going down again.

Anyone looking for the updated HCFR fork, please go to this AVSForum post for the installation files. It’s provided by Omardris, the guy who wrote the code for the v3.5.4.4 release. This is because the project maintainer arthur-liberman never uploaded it to the “Releases” tab on the project’s GitHub, which is still on v3.5.4.2. Hope this helps!
