I’ve tried running calibrations several times, and only after the lengthy process do I get a popup error, and I can’t tell if the results of the calibration are usable, or how to proceed if they are.

Once I’ve reached this point, there’s a new directory in ~/.local/share/DisplayCal/storage, the most recent of which contains these files, and I’ve attached an archive of it as well (monitor.tgz):

$ ls -1 .local/share/DisplayCAL/storage/Monitor_1_#1_2025-12-03_12-07_0.3127x\ 0.329y_sRGB_F-S_XYZLUT+MTX/

0_16.ti3

One comment on “Error following calibration (KDE Plasma, Wayland)”

  1. Update:I installed plasma-x11-sessionand kwin-x11so I could run DisplayCAL in x11 instead of wayland, and it all succeeded. I got an ICC profile after running in x11, which I’m now able to use in plasma wayland as well.Seems to be related to running DisplayCAL from wayland
