    Hello all,

I’m using a ColorHug2 and DisplayCAL to calibrate my laptop monitor. Everything seems to work pretty well (the calibrated output isn’t much different from the default), but the verification measurement report states a “Measured vs. assumed target whitepoint ΔE*00” of 15, quite far from the nominal range of 0-2.

I’ve tried googling the issue without much luck: can someone help me please?

    Attached is the measurement report.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,

“Measured vs. assumed target whitepoint ΔE*00” of 15, quite far from the nominal range of 0-2.

This means the measured whitepoint is quite far from the daylight locus. See also the FAQ.

    Hi, thanks for your answer.

I had read the FAQ, but I can’t find there an explanation for why this happens and what I can do about it.

I’ve found this topic (https://hub.displaycal.net/forums/topic/need-help-interpreting-first-calibration/), I will try to follow the suggestions there too.
