Is there a way to check my monitor profile with regards to a certain color space? When I launch the application, there is what looks like a ‘main’ Settings menu, populated with :
1 <Current>
2 Defaut (Gamma 2.2)
3 Laptop (Gamma 2.2)
4 Office & Web (D65 and Gamma 2.2)
5 Photo (D50, Gamma 2.2)
6 Softproof (5800K, 160 cd/m2, L*)
7 sRGB
8 Video (D65, Rec 1886)
9 Video 3D LUTs…
10 U4320Q #1 2022… .icm

I can see these refer to the “General” kinds of settings. More can be imported out of existing ICC profiles… I’ll have to read up on those “Presets”…
My question is : How can control which part of DispCal I want to execute?
Suppose I only want to explore Calibration? Or Profile? Or Verification?
And how would I go about importing a CGATS file for Verification?
Sorry for all these questions… Need to keep reading on the DisplayCal…
I read the documentation relative to “Settings” and found this :
Here, you can load a preset, or a calibration (.cal) or ICC profile (.icc / .icm) file from a previous run.
This make a lot of sense. Still not clear on how to launch Verification “alone”…

With no GPU calibration / testing factory calibration / testing HW calibration:
-go to verify tab
-simulate profile: sRGB, check use simulation profile as displayprofile.
With GPU grey calibration applied… not supported AFAIK, try running DisplayCAL on a virtual machine with above settings (host will have GPU Calibration loaded) : yu load calibration, then on VM verify as if there were no calibration.
Maybe with HCFR application you can do that too without VM.
Note: if you do not check “use simulation profile as displayprofile” but use a simulation profile you are testing how good your monitor is when showing an image in XXXX profile on Photoshop or GIMP.-
