Hi all and thanks in advance for the support!

I’m new to DisplayCal, and i’m trying to troubleshoot why it fails to install a profile after a calibration.

    The message i receive is:
” The profile could not be installed/activated ”

It also has another follow up error window that states:

    AttributeError: ‘MainFrame’ object has
    no attribute ‘modaldig’
    Traceback (most recent call last):
    File “wx/_core.pyc”, line 16766, in
    <lambda>
    File “DisplayCAL/DisplayCAL.pyc”, line
    9608, in profile_finish_consumer
    AttributeError: ‘MainFrame’ object has
    no attribute ‘modaldlg’

I’m running DisplayCal on macOS 12.4, from an intel MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) and i’m trying to calibrate an external monitor, connected to the same machine, a Dell U2515H.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Thanks Vincent!

I’ll try the port to python soon but luckily the profile went through on a second run.

If it helps anyone with a similar issue, i made sure to have the System Preferences panel closed the second time.
I also tried to upload the profile before installing it. The upload didn’t work, but maybe it helped with the subsequent installation?

Not sure but it eventually worked 🙂
