Hey y’all. I just received my XPS and I’ve tried calibrating it a couple times with a Spyder5. I tried using settings recommended by a couple tutorials from YouTube but I’ve noticed that the blacks would become washed out. I’m assuming this is because I am trying to calibrate a OLED as opposed to a LCD panel. I would love some setting recommendations please! I am going to use my laptop for photo and video editing.

    Thank you!
    Ken

Use the defaults and see the other OLED related threads in this forum (e.g. https://hub.displaycal.net/forums/topic/oled-panels/).

Thank you for the response. So selecting Mode RGB LED is not necessary?

Are there specific settings for Verification? My results were poor after the calibration.

Always use a proper measurement mode or correction for your display type. And make sure to follow the advice in the other OLED related threads.
