    Hi,

I’m using a LG27UK650-W and Colormunki. When I get to the measurement screen and begin calibrating the RGB, I see that no matter how high I increase the reds, it will remain at the halfway point. Clearly, my screen is red at max levels, so what’s going on here? Green and blues act as expected, but the reds…. This worries me since I could be oversaturated in the reds slightly without knowing it. Odd part is, the reds will have no trouble decreasing when lowered. The problem only occurs when trying to increase the reds.

*On a side note, is there a software to measure the accuracy of my monitor to gauge DisplayCal’s calibration?

    Hi,

if you’re already clipping red, reduce the other channels instead.

Hi, but if the reds measurement bar remain at the halfway point regardless of how high my red values are, how do I know if they’re clipping?

Reduce G and B until red changes, then reduce R until G or B changes.

Thanks!  I’ll stick to that method.  Also, should I set the Windows 10 color profile as the DisplayCal ICC? Or does DisplayCal just overwrite Windows 10?

Both set the same thing, only the UI is different.
