I have downloaded  the latest version of DisplayCal but cannot get it to recognise my Spyder 2Pro.    I have installed it from the Spyder CD and it is showing as enabled in  Tools/Instrument.     The latest version of ArgyllCMS is also on the PC.

It has worked OK before with an earlier version of DisplayCal on a different computer.  Any suggestions, please?

    Thanks

Have you tried plugging it in and going to Tools -> Instrument -> Enable Spyder 2 Colorimeter?

Yes, done that.  Following your post I went through all the menus and found that I hadn’t loaded Argyll, so did that and it works!  It was hidden away in the menus – would have thought it could be more prominent to help novices like me!

    Hi

If I’ve a big piece of advice to give you and if you can afford it, naturally, opt for a more specific tool. The SpyderX for exemple.

    Enjoyed!
