You said LUT3D HDR to HDR does not work in madVR… or I understood wromg what you had said previosuly
if HDR to HDR LUT3D that you compute with DIsplayCAL/ArgyllCMS was working properly in previous madvr version then it’s madVR’s fault but I cannot test what it is. my displays have no “HDR in” mode.

AFAIK there was a change for LUT3D HDR to SDR, it expects a Rec2020 g2.2 (SDR) LUT3D as source. IDNK about other changes.
It worked in 0.92.16, but not in later versions. I’m pretty sure it’s madVR’s fault, but I wanted to check here to be sure
