When starting a new calibration, the application does not reset/uninstall the currently installed profile. I have to manually select Tools > Video card gamma table > Reset video card gamma table before calibrating.
Tested on 2 up to date Windows 10 systems: one laptop with a gtx 970m using Nvidia Optimus, one desktop with a gtx 1080.

And it shouldn’t. Why would you expect it to? The only thing that gets reset during calibration (if you actually run calibration) is the video card gamma table (videoLUT).
Sorry I think I worded that badly. My bug is that the videoLUT does NOT reset during calibration.
I cannot reproduce this. Make sure that no 3rd party utility is interfering.
I close f.lux every time I start displayCAL. I’m running Bitdefender Free as my antivirus and that hasn’t detected anything. I don’t believe I’m running any other applications that might cause issues. I would consider MSI Afterburner, but I’m only running that on one of my systems and I’m getting the bug on both. I’ve attached a screenshot of my tray table.
The apps I have running right now are:
Bluetooth, Wox, DisplayCAL Profile Loader, Razer Synapse, Bitdefender Free, MSI Afterburner, Steam, Google Drive, Nvidia Control Panel (No Geforce Experience), Messenger for Desktop, Soundblaster Connect.
