    HI,

I’ve calibrated my laptop’s built-in display and an external monitor with DisplayCAlL, but the calibration often resets on the laptop display. Shortly after, the profile loader automatically re-applies the profile. It happens whenever I insert or remove a USB device from my laptop and when toggling bluetooth on/off. Sometimes it also happens when I get a system dialog box. My external monitor is just fine.

Adaptive brightness and other display-related energy saving tech is disabled. It also happens when the charger is plugged in and the laptop is running at a high-performance power plan.

Apparently this is a known issue with Nvidia cards, but is there any workaround? My machine runs Windows 10 and has an Nvidia GTX 1060 Max-Q GPU.

    Regards,

    Saner
