White point and brightness laptop

Hello ! Is it normal that while adjusting the brightness of my laptop, the whitepoint change ? (it seems that the green color is more reduced than the blue and the blue more than the red ). Thanks.

Hi,

it depends how you change the brightness. Usually, the brightness control on a laptop changes the backlight, which doesn’t have much effect on the whitepoint chromaticity, but this also depends on the type of backlight and how it’s driven by the display electronics.
