Hello, I calibrated my display using display cal to gamma 2.2 and 6500K. While white point and greyscale are perfect, the white point is too high. I use my PC in a decently lit room and my brightness is only at about 90 cd.

I can have lots of vibrant colors on my screen and things look great but if I ever get pure white on my screen it’s just too bright and hurt my eyes. Simply turning down the brightness makes everything else that is not white way too dim.

What should I adjust in my calibration to have a lower white point but not lower brightness and still retain a proper calibration/gamma curve.  Also would I benefit from raising my gamma to 2.4?
