    Heya Florian,

    Hope you’re doing well!

I saw a few times you recommend Firefox over Chrome, as it supports accurate color management, where Chrome does not. I’ve been using Chrome alongside DisplayCal for quite a while but I never truly realised how bad color was affected, especially blacks.

Any profile created with DisplayCal causes wierd things to happen with the black levels. See attached photos.

I rarely use 3dlut, and mostly use the 1d calibration side of the profile, so it worries me that other apps/games may have the same issue..

Will this black crush affect other programs too, such as games “when not using a 3dlut” (1d only)?

Is there anything I can change in DisplayCal and not cause crushed blacks / weird color abnomalities in Chrome/other apps that don’t do correct color management?

I don’t want to have to worry that DisplayCal is crushing colors in any apps/games i use.

Thanks a million for your time!

Never seen anything like that, it looks like a display bug in Chrome.
