I am trying to calibrate via Davinci resolve and keep getting the “Wavelength Calibration Reading is too low” error. I ran the software in standalone to get this log. I am running X-Rite i1 Pro 1 and not the detected X-Rite i1 Pro 2.
Any ideas on what it is I am doing wrong?
TIA

?
2020-03-20 at 17:10 #23790The only anomaly that I have found is that I have a X-Rite i1 pro 1 spectrometer and not a X-Rite i1 pro 2.
2020-03-20 at 17:18 #23800Well, if the firmware says otherwise, that certainly seems odd. Where did you get this device?
2020-03-20 at 17:26 #23801Thanks for helping with this. I got the device from x-rite and works with the x-rite software. Is there any way to drill down on the “Wavelength Calibration Reading is too low” error that you know of?
2020-03-20 at 17:51 #23803How old is the meter? I thought the i1Pro 1 was no longer manufactured or sold? Did you install the latest ArgyllCMS instrument driver (from Argyll V2.1.2)?
2020-03-20 at 21:00 #23813The meter is about 2 years old. We have been actively using it for that time without issue. I just recently wanted to explore options. I am running centos 7 and believe that I am running 2.1.2

This is the old i1 Pro (1):
This is the i1Pro 2:
Might help to carefully clean the optics (remove aperture ring and blow out any dust).
2020-03-20 at 21:32 #23820Apologies, Mine is the second one. So it must be a pro 2. I tried to clean it and still have the same error
2020-03-20 at 21:40 #23826Weird. Maybe contact Graeme Gill, he may be able to help. Be prepared to use spotread on the command line though.
2020-03-20 at 21:53 #23828It sounds fun and thanks for your help. I will post the solution to this thread once it is resolved.
