I am trying to calibrate via Davinci resolve and keep getting the “Wavelength Calibration Reading is too low” error.  I ran the software in standalone to get this log.    I am running X-Rite i1 Pro 1 and not the detected  X-Rite i1 Pro 2.

Any ideas on what it is I am doing wrong?

    TIA

    I am running X-Rite i1 Pro 1 and not the detected X-Rite i1 Pro 2.

    The only anomaly that I have found is that I have a X-Rite i1 pro 1 spectrometer and not a X-Rite i1 pro 2.

Well, if the firmware says otherwise, that certainly seems odd. Where did you get this device?

Thanks for helping with this.  I got the device from x-rite and works with the x-rite software. Is there any way to drill down on the “Wavelength Calibration Reading is too low” error that you know of?

How old is the meter? I thought the i1Pro 1 was no longer manufactured or sold? Did you install the latest ArgyllCMS instrument driver (from Argyll V2.1.2)?

The meter is about 2 years old.  We have been actively using it for that time without issue.  I just recently wanted to explore options.  I am running centos 7 and believe that I am running 2.1.2

    sudo find / -name ArgyllCMS*.*

How does the device look like?

This is the old i1 Pro (1):
    i1Pro

    This is the i1Pro 2:

Might help to carefully clean the optics (remove aperture ring and blow out any dust).

Apologies,  Mine is the second one.   So it must be a pro 2.    I  tried to clean it and still have the same error

Weird. Maybe contact Graeme Gill, he may be able to help. Be prepared to use spotread on the command line though.

It sounds fun and thanks for your help.    I will post the solution to this thread once it is resolved.
