Visual Whie Pont Editor

Perhaps someone can help with a very simple question.

I am using the visual white point editor to better match up 2 monitors.

I adjust one of the monitors using the color wheel in the editor.

I then measure the white point in the editor interface.

Now what? No matter what is seem to do i do not get any change in the appearance of monitor that has been changed. ( I re calibrated the monitor setting white point “as measured” but calibration does not request me to make any changes to rgb values in OSD

I must be missing something
