Home › Forums › Help and Support › Very different measurement reports of the same profile
Hello!
I have a strange problem with displaycal. A few days ago I recalibrated my monitor benq pd2500q. after installing the profile, the measurement report was very good.
today I made another measurement report for the same profile, i notice that, in Measured vs. assumed target whitepoint ΔE*00 the value is very close to 1 (0,98).
So in displaycal I reinstalled again the same profile. after doing this I started another measurement report, this time Measured vs. assumed target whitepoint ΔE*00 value is 0,57 so with a much lower and acceptable value. what could be the reason of these very different measurements of the same profile?
Im on windows 10 last version with the latest update, Colorimeter is i1displaypro, vga Nvidia gtx 1070 ti with studio version drivers

+- 0.4 dE isn’t a large difference. That’s about the repeatability of most instruments.
Thanks Florian for the reply and for the clarification. So it’s a normal range value.
Just another clarification. After calibration the value was very low 0.16 dE (first report). is it normal that in a few days the value has risen up to get close to the value of 1 dE ?(second report).
Temperature, humidity, instrument placement, …etc. There are a number of factors that can influence the measurements.
Edit: All in all, I wouldn’t worry. Your display seems very stable, judging from almost no apparent variation in the distribution of delta E values (grayscale + color) between the three reports.
Ok now I get it. Florian thanks again for your support.
