Hi there.
I’m using HCFR a lot and I wonder if it is possible to verify a 3DLUT generated in DisplayCal. What do I mean by that?
If I generate a 3D Lut after profiling, I can then import some patches in Resolve (e.g. gray patches from 0-255), apply the 3DLut enerated in DisplayCal, read those patches in HCFR. However , is there a better way? Does this make any sense because even to me it sounds ridiculous 🙂
Thank you.
You can verify the 3D LUT in DisplayCAL. On the verification tab, enable “use simulation profile as display profile” and use the same settings for tone curve as on the 3D LUT tab. Also enable device link profile (which is needed because Resolve does not support applying the 3D LUT to the patches in Resolve itself).
