    Hi 🙂

I have bought a new screen (AOC U3277PWQU) and I’ve decided to calibrate it with Displaycal and Colormunki Display. I’ve done the process in Windows and verification of the results shows average delta of only 1.02

I dual boot with Linux and to save some time, I’ve decided to use the same profile. Is that fine or is it better to do a separate calibration? I’ve also run the verification in Linux and the average delta is slightly higher – 1.19. I’m not sure if that matters, but I’m using Geforce 1080Ti with Nvidia’s proprietary drivers.

    Best regards, Crocodil

    Hi,

yes, that’s fine (assuming a digital connection to the display in both cases).

I’ve also run the verification in Linux and the average delta is slightly higher – 1.19.

That seems within instrument/measurement noise and normal display operating fluctuation.

Thank you Florian, that’s great! 🙂 Yes, I use DisplayPort in both systems.
