Hi everyone,
Updated to Argyll 2.2.1 and tried to download the USB driver (I’m using ColorMunki Photo) and I get a modal window that reads:
“Key does not exist: “There is no item name u’Argyll_V2.21_USB_driver_installer.exe’ in the archive”
I can use the previous driver – but wondering if something has fundamentally changed.
Thanks!

… why are you updating to last Argyll beta though displaycal has not been updated since 2 years? regards- TG
Hi TG,
Argyll 2.2.1 was released September 2021. Not a beta from what the site indicates.
I see no harm in using an Argyll update, even if DisplayCal is still on 3.8.9.3.
If Argyll improves, maybe my profiles will too.
I was just surprised by that error window.

I noticed the same issue too. It may have something to do with Argyll’s driver not being signed. This means you would have to boot into UEFI options, disable Driver Signature Enforcement and then install the drivers through Device Manager “havedisk”.
That’s obviously a lot of hassle. Florian probably worked around this by packing the driver files in his own signed executable. (just my guess, I could be wrong!)
Seems he’s done it for the Argyll 2.1.2 drivers but not for the latest 2.2.1.
Workaround:
Hi Raj,
Yes, I rolled back to the 2.1.2 USB driver and everything’s fine. Was just curious as to what happened with the latest release. Never had that issue before….
Thanks for writing. Be well!
