Hi! I just updated my fully functional DisplayCAL 3.7 to 3.8, but was greeted by a python error when starting the program (https://imgur.com/a/Kp5a0qt). The splash screen remains visible and the program does not continue.
I have tried a clean install, but the error remains. I am on Windows 10 (build 1809). Is there anything I can try to pinpoint the cause?

It looks like you have a malformed CCSS file somewhere in C:\Users\<Your Username>\Roaming\ArgyllCMS (or Roaming\color). That error should probably be caught. Move them all out, and re-add one by one to find the conflicting file. Please attach it (zipped) once you have found it. Thanks.
I moved out the file “LG ULTRAWIDE (i1 Pro)für EIDOS3.ccss” and the problem was solved immediately. The umlaut seems to be the culprit here.
