Hi all, I am a newbie to displaycal and attempting to calibrate my asus rog pg279q 27″ monitor. I am having issues connecting the instrument, and I checked some previous posts on this. I have the monitor connected with DisplayPort, and disabled the windows firewall. I did disconnect/re-connect the cable as well as reboot. I do not have a USB connection. I tried the Tools->Instrument and install Argyle and enable Spyder.  I also tried clicking on the circular detect device option but no luck.  Do you think the nvidia control panel/g-sync could be interfering with the connection?

Hi, what’s your instrument (I guess a Spyder2)? Do you see it listed in device manager under Argyll libusb devices?
