    Hi all,

I completed the calibration of my monitor using Displaycal and my Spyder 4.  I am not sure of the improvements.

Can I simply test the calibration of my monitor without starting a new long calibration process?

Answer: Mesurement report, no simulation profiles. Check whitepoint and grey a*b* range in RGB+grey balance combo inside the report.

Note: Since Spyder4 is not an accurate device measured white and actual white coordinates may not match. It may have difficult time reading very dark patches too. If you are worried because huge color cast in gradients in color managed apps try “single curve + matrix” profile + black point compensation and make calibration speed at least 1 step slower.
