Hi there again!
I got an LG 27MD5KL yesterday and verified it first, average gamma was 2.20 but gamma curve was not in track.
But i know that SW calibrations cause a clipping on gray level of a display, i choose not to calibrate any value on display and performed “profiling” only
But when i verified my display with a created icc file, gamma curve was perfectly in track.
In my knowledge, gamma-calibration is not in profiling process but calibration process. also, gamma calibration is 1D LUT and through buy graphics card.
Is it normal? Thanks.

Displaycal verification verifies if profile matches display, not if your display has a desired gamma or white (although it validates if it is close to daylight or blackbody loci)
