There is a strange thing occuring with Auto Luminance option in late 2018 and 2019 Macbook Pros supporting True Tone. When a profile with VCGT calibration curves is used, activation of auto brightness adjustment function causes bluish or cyan filling of most black and near-black interface items such as system fonts and dark parts of icons. See the video attached below.
For profiles containing characterization data only, the issue does not appear. Are there any ideas?

Please report this bug to Apple. Although there is likely very little chance it will ever get fixed or even looked at.
