    I have Spyder3.
And also HP DreamColor Z24x G2 Display. It has a wide gamut and, it seems, a white LED.
And also Asus PA246Q. It has a wide gamut and CCFL.
    What correction to choose?

-Corrections for that kind of old colorimeters are not “portable”

-Z24x is not that kind of “white led” in your screenshot (sRGB WLED).
If you had a modern colorimeter like i1DisplayPro or Munki Display there is an Z24x EDR file with 1nm spectral power distribution in HP’s software. You can get a CCSS correction from that EDR. That correction is “portable” between i1d3 family.
If you wish to measure that display accurately you should buy one on these colorimeters, or get/rent/lend an spectrophotometer to create a correction for your spyder3. Since your spyder low light readings may be off, I won’t choose latest option.

-Widegamut CCFL S-IPS seems to be close to what you are seeking for the Asus.
