    Hi,

I am very new in this forum.Although I am using Displaycal software since 1 year. I am going to buy a Dell U2415 monitor soon. My question is can I properly calibrate that Monitor(White led) with the help of Spyder 3 Elite?

    Thank.

    Hi,

My question is can I properly calibrate that Monitor(White led) with the help of Spyder 3 Elite?

I would think so, at least if the instrument has been stored safely and its filters haven’t degraded too much (depends on how old the instrument is).

    Thanks for your reply.

I think my instrument has been stored safely  🙂 .One thing more to ask,if I want to calibrate an E-IPS monitor(Dell U2412m) with Spyder 3 Elite, what should be the correction setting?

White LED. Note though that with a correction that you haven’t created yourself (you need a spectrometer for that), there’s no guarantee it’ll make your Spyder more accurate. It may be better than nothing though.
