Is feasible or just a waste of time using a Spyder 3 to calibrate a SAMOLED display? While I can’t find a correction file for this panel type I’m considering trying corrections for wide gamut VA or IPS with LED backlighting and seeing how close they come to existing gamut measurement graphs on the net. The display in question is the Samsung Galaxy S7 used as a second Windows display via Spacedesk.

You can certainly try it – SAMOLED should be close to AdobeRGB in gamut size and shape, so that is a way to check if the measurements and resulting profile seem sensible.
