Hi I have just installed DisplayCal on my new Windows 10 system. It seems to not be able to detect my Spyder 3 at all, although everything else during the installation went fine. Is there anything I can try to get it see the datacolor hardware?
TIA
I did get it to recognize Spyder 3, however my calibration attempt is stuck at measuring the “interactive display adjustment” window. It’s been about 23 hours on a white square.
It says:
Initial 86.38 cd/m2
Current 86.21 cd/m2 this current # goes back down and climbs back up.
(- 0.46%)
Should I start over?
It’s running patches now. I’ll just keep talking to myself then since I can’t delete the post and it seems to help 🙂
Hi,
You should start over from the beginning by scrupulously following the online help.
Installing the drivers is essential for recognition of the probe.
Windows only: if your measurement probe is not ColorMunki Display, i1 Display Pro, Huey, ColorHug, specbos, spectraval ou K-10, you will need to install a driver specific to Argyll. By selecting, “measuring probe”. You can install the drivers for the ArgyllCMS measurement probes.
Good reading.
Thank you I finally have success. Moving on to test prints now 🙂
