Trying to install my Spyder 2 on Mac, running OSX El Capitan.
I have original CD and Spyder software but Display cal will not find or load PLD file and asks if I’ve run oeminst.
oeminst gives the following message:

RICHARDsMini728:~ richardbendall$ /Users/richardbendall/Downloads/Argyll_V1.9.2/bin/oeminst ; exit;

oeminst: Error –

…copying shared history…
…saving history…truncating history files…
…completed.Obviously, something is stopping it accessing the files on the CD. How do I fix this?
Many thanks
Richard
2017-09-30 at 12:52 #9042I recommend using the automatic import in DisplayCAL.
2017-10-02 at 21:47 #9072Thanks Florian, that’s what I did. Also tried using import file function from CD, spyder2 express software file and a spyd2pld.bin file I found online. None of it has worked.
I’ve attached screenshots to show what happens….
Getting very frustrated – any help welcomed
Many thanks
Richard

2017-10-04 at 22:09 #9082Hi Florian
Just looked in ~/Library/Application Support/ArgyllCMS and there is no “spy2pld.bin” there, though plenty of other files relating to the spyder 2 instrument. I’ve attached a screenshot of all relevant files. Any idea what’s wrong or how I can fix it?
Regards
Richard

Tell it where the setup(.exe) file is: oeminst /path/to/file
2017-10-13 at 21:34 #9143Thanks for taking the trouble, Florian. The log is attached.

2017-10-13 at 22:16 #9146That was very quick, Florian.
I’ve done as you said, file attached.
