Quite new with DisplayCal and have been reading the documentation but is still a bit confused with some of the settings.

I have a wide-gamut monitor with a gamma setting (default 2.2) and color temperture setting (default 6500k).

Should I be setting DisplayCal’s gamma and white point to the same values or “as measured”? What would be the difference between (or when should I be using) the “as measured” and setting it to a value matching the monitor’s?

    Thanks!

hi i’ve found it usefull to create an “uncalibrated-report” first on each OSD profile “mode” to get an idea about what those factory calibrations actually mean in terms of measured-values. that means that there is no vcgt applied yet from displayCAL just a plain .log report.
