    Greetings!

Ok so I’m looking to calibrate an LG-C9 OLED for HDR in the P3 gamut.

    Some more info:

    • working in Resolve
    • Clean feed from Decklink Studio 4k
    • Will double as a client reference monitor
    • working in a space with controlled light and neutral gray walls

Should I be worried about burn-in from pattern generation?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting this set up?

    Many many thanks in advance!

    Hi,

for best accuracy (but reduced peak luminance) you probably want to profile the TV in SDR mode (HDR mode will negatively affect measurements due to internal TV processing) and use a HDR to SDR 3D LUT. Make sure to enable white level drift compensation and use a small patch size.

Should I be worried about burn-in from pattern generation?

Probably not. The patterns are small and only on screen for a relatively short amount of time.
