Set monitior to match printouts

Hi all,

I have a colormunki smile and would like to set my dell SS2240T to match the printouts on my Hiti 520l printer.

I am new to  event photography and take photos at events and print out photos there and then. It is therefore important that what i see on the monitor is the same or very close to what will print.

What would i need to do to have my prints match my monitor?

Hi,

after you’ve profiled your monitor, the next step is to profile your printer. In case you don’t have a spectrophotometer, there are service providers that offer creating a profile from a printout of a testchart that you have to send them.
