    Hello!

I’m using  DisplayCAL in combination with a Spyder5 colorimeter and want to calibrate two displays (to 6500K).

    1. Acer XB271HU
    2.  My new Samsung Odyssey G9 (LC49G95T) (VA panel)

I’m not quite sure which mode to choose. In the past I used “LCD White LED” for the Acer, which has an IPS Panel. Is that correct?

Which mode would be the correct one for the Odyssey G9? I’m not an expert, when it comes to display technologies. Will “LCD White LED” work here, too?

Also for correction, DisplayCAL found a file for the G9 in the database, but it seems to be for “i1 Pro”.

It would really help me, if someone could tell me, which “mode” I have to choose for these two monitors.

One last question: Since I’m using both monitors for photoediting, I want to set the whitepoint as similar to each other as possible. Is setting the whitepoint in DisplayCAL to 6500K on both devices the right way to achieve that?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Greetings

    Jaytie
