Is there a way to test for the Rec. 2020 gamut coverage using DisplayCal? And have the coverage represented as a percentage (similar to the summary view presented to users after profiling a display)?

I’ve run the Rec. 2020  verification pattern successfully, but am not clear on how to interpret the results.

    Thanks.

You’ll need to run iccgamut and viewgam from commandline. One takes the imput of another:

Maybe ther is a shortcut but that way you can get coverages from an arbitrary profile to another.

I don’t see any mention of Rec. 2020 on either of those pages. Would you happen to know which parameters to use?

(thanks for the quick response BTW).

Becasue it is a generic solution, you’ll have to provide the specific colrospace you want to compare against (in an ICC file)
run iccgamut with your profile, get a gam file
run iccgamut with ref profile (Rec2020 with the TRC you need, usualy PQ), get a gam file
run viewgam -i with two gams
