I just bought a ThinPad X1 Carbon two days ago and installed Arch Linux. As the color rendering is yellowish I searched the web for a possible method to correct this anomaly and found DisplayCAL (and ArgyllCMS). Its “Show curves” function shows that R,G and B profiles are different. Because I have no colorimeter, at least now, is it possible to use this software in absence of a color probe to adjust, manually with the cross cursor, the profiles of each R/G/B channels ? I precise that all widgets at the window bottoms, such as “Calibrate & Profile”, are greyed. I have read the Quickstart guide but can’t find how to do that.
Hi,

unfortunately, no. A measurement instrument is a requirement.
Now more clear for me. Thanks.
