    Sorry for ask noob qusetion.

I am using DisplayCAL program on windows 10.

I calibrated and profiled my monitor(benq gw2406z, supports sRGB) with displaycal program.

I chose the option as ‘Let displaycal handle calibration loading’

Then, at display option on windows 10, new profile is applied as default.

In this case, if I use Photoshop or any program which automatically load default profile from OS, dose profile overlapped with displaycal profile loader?

Seems displaycal profile loader affects almost every progams(like web browser or video player… etc) on desktop.

If profile is overlapped, what should I do?

And again, I am sorry for poor english.

No. Only the 1D calibration is loaded from the profile, and it affects grayscale, whitepoint and tone response of the display. But only color managed applications like Photoshop will use the actual profile. Both calibration and profile need to be used together, and the profile loader ensures this.

    Thanks for detailed answer!

I  misunderstood the difference between calibration and profilng till now.

I just started learning about color management system, and this is pretty hard to learn.

Thanks again, Have a nice day!
