I have just recently started using DisplayCAL on my Dell Precision T3610 workstation with a Quadro K2200. I have Argyll 1.9.2 and originally had DisplayCAL 3.2.1 install, now updated to 3.2.2 today. OS is Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 x64. Xeon E5-1607 v2 and 16GB RAM. No integrated graphics are present.

I have 3 Dell 2209WA displays connected to the K2200, using NVIDIA driver 375.86 WHQL.

I have a Gretag spectrophotometer based on the X-rite i1Display Pro 1. The drivers for the device are installed as per instructions and I can complete calibrations just fine. The problem is the calibration profiles don’t stay loaded. After a short time, I notice the displays are not corrected and when I check the system tray utility, it shows the “bypass mode” profile is loaded for all displays. I have both the “preserve calibration state” and “automatically fix profile associations” checked. I even removed all but the calibrated profile, but something recreates the bypass mode profile and loads it after some time. I dug around in the settings but can’t seem to find out why it is behaving like this. I have another Dell Precision workstation with a similar but slightly different configuration that is doing exactly the same thing.

I’m not sure if this is a bug or my own misunderstanding of how DisplayCAL is supposed to work. Help?

    Hi,

it shows the “bypass mode” profile is loaded for all displays

You’ll have to explain to me what the “bypass mode” profile is because that’s not something I’m familiar with.

Ah, I believe I know what the problem is now. It’s most likely from the CalMAN software that is installed but I no longer use. I will uninstall it.

Confirmed, user error. After removing CalMAN the profiles are working correctly.
