Good day to you!
Please help in a non-trivial problem … (
Color profiling of the “most perfect” laptop of our time was made (MacBook Pro sn: C02ZH0LWLVDR ver. OS 10.15 Catalina) …. but, alas, trouble arose:
– calibration profile settings constantly crash;
– the laptop screen becomes colder a few seconds after startup;
although the profile obtained during calibration remains selected in the system settings …Please help!

although the profile obtained during calibration remains selected in the system settings …Verify that profile using DisplayCAL. If GPU calibration was reset by other application profile verification will show it so you may look in your system what app is causing that reset. Your profile shows that white is corrected by calibration, G&B are limited to 245/255. Your symptoms look like GPU calibration reset.

Preliminary.
Is it possible that the new Catalina operating system is doing this reset?
Is there any way around this?
Should DisplayCAL be left in installed programs so that it can control profiling and prevent it from resetting the GPU profile?- This reply was modified 4 years, 6 months ago by DeonisNikul.

Because I do not know much about this issue (
I really hope that a solution exists …

IDNK what you mean with this.
Do you delete DisplayCAL after calibrating & profiling your Display? If true… you cannot verify calibration with DisplayCAL, you won’t know when it has drifted as display ages (a few months).2019-10-30 at 17:29 #20830Vincent, with your permission, will I also send you a verification report?

Attach it here so all we can see it, but you can understand it by yourself: check if profile whitepoint and measured whitepopint match. Measured WP should be much cooler if there is a GPU calibration reset.
It reset is happening, check other apps trying to fight between them to use GPU calibration, like other calibration programs.
If reset is actually happening, it’s a question for Mr. Höch, DisplayCAL developer.2019-10-30 at 17:34 #20831Oh … I feel the cause of trouble is hidden deeply (
I will consistently implement your recommendations.
Thank you, before the communication session!
