    First time using DisplayCAL.

    The program recognized my Spyder2 and downloaded all the necessary software. Then it started calibrating the white balance. It showed the three RGB bars; R and B were very short and G very long. White was about centered. The program kept chirping and I was not sure what it wanted. Eventually I went to the RGB controls in the monitor and they were all maxed out at 255. Clearly no room for adjustments. I aborted the calibration at that point. What is next?

    I lowered the green and moved on with the calibration. After 65 minutes, it was successfully done. A definite improvement.
