    I’ve been using DisplayCAL and the X-Rite i1 Display unit to calibrate my 2019 iMac 5K for a year or so with good success. Today, however, when I attempted a calibration and the brightness level test started, I got a pop-up dialog box saying “The measurement failed because the instrument sensor is in the wrong position.” I tried repositioning the sensor within the white box many times but got the same error message each time. Restarting the computer didn’t help. Does this mean my X-Rite i1 unit has gone bad? Any ideas? Thanks.
