posterisation on LG31MU97 monitor

Hi,

I am trying to calibrate the above monitor through Resolve, running from an imac through an ultrastudio express. Every time I do it, and load the generated lut into the display slot in Resolve, the monitor image becomes cruder and posterised, and the colours don’t look particularly accurate.

Can anyone tell me what my set up parameters should be on displaycal, or what I might be doing wrong, to avoid this problem?

Hi,

probably Resolve acting up during measurements. Enable advanced options in the “Options” menu in DisplayCAL and increase the minimum display update delay on the “Display & instrument” tab to 1000ms.
