Hi,
How can the software on my laptop be set to detect and CALIBRATE my external OLED TV
Software is detecting my i1 display
Thanks in advance
You could find all of the instruction at https://displaycal.net/.
I guess for OLED, you’d need to select a correction: “Spectral: LED OLED” for the i1 Display. Also enable: “White level drift compensation” since you’re calibrating an OLED.

Any idea from a novice how to enable the test patterns for calibration to show on my oled, do I connect it via hdmi from my laptop or are there they other options
Thanks in advance

Directly connecting the Laptop is the most straightforward option. You could also use a Chromecast as pattern generator.
