Just got a displaymunki smile and read that you guys are a much superior software to whats bundled in the box. I have set it up as best I can tell from videos and guides.  I have two monitors, a Samsung S24D360 and an LG 29WK500.

My issue is a slight color cast between monitors, and the blacks on the LG seem to be much darker.

I reset both monitors to default settings, then started by installing the argyll driver, then loaded the colormunki software into “Import colorimeter software”. Nvidia control panel is set to “Dynamic Range 0-255”

Profile on Default (Gama 2.2), Disabled white level and black level drift compensation, Custom color temp of 6500k, custom white level of 120, tone curve on Gama 2.2.

Get the settings as close as I can with monitor RGB adjustment, then run the very high calibration speed (will do a longer one once I get these closer)

When I go to correct the second monitor the “Settings” dropdown has changed from default to one based on my first monitor

    Any help would be excellent!

    Hi,

My issue is a slight color cast between monitors, and the blacks on the LG seem to be much darker.

To equalize black levels, you have to sacrifice the lower black on the LG monitor. To do that, enable advanced options in the options menu, then set black level on the calibration tab to custom. Click the small dark square and measure the black on the Samsung (i.e. calibrate the Samsung before the LG). Use the same value for the LG.

To match the whitepoints, see the FAQ in this forum.
