I have a dual boot Win 7/Win 10 system where I’m about to remove the Windows 7 OS. I have made my original calibrations on Windows 7. I Installed displayCAL on Win 10 and chose File > Install display device profile… and navigated to my Win 7 %APPDATA%/DisplayCAL/storage folder for each of my monitors and loaded and installed the profiles successfully.

However it doesn’t seem to have actually moved the profiles over to my Win 10  %APPDATA%/DisplayCAL/storage. When I choose File > profile information it opens the folder to the Win 7 partition.

Did I migrate my profiles over incorrectly? Am I going to lose the calibrations once I remove Windows 7?

If you want to move your existing Win7 %APPDATA%\DisplayCAL folder to Win10, use Windows Explorer. “Install profile” is only for copying it to the Windows profile store and associating it to a display.
