Hello, an user kindly offered me his gamma cal for y27q-20 which unfortunately doesn’t have gamma adjustment.

He gave me a 2.4 icc profile, however this is just slightly too dark, i’d like to put the value to 2.35 or 2.3…  would be perfect.

    Thank you.

Do you have .cal file? It’s text:
    -open spreadsheet
    -column 1: 256 step from 0.0 to 1.0
-column 2: apply gamma “2.3” (whatever you want*) to 1
    -column 3: apply gamma 2.4 to 1
    -column 4: going from 2.4 to 2.3*
-columns 5-7: “cal” RGB data correction to video LUT with uncalibrated screen “1.x-2.x” going to some kind of 2.4.
-columns 8-10: correct cal data with 4

Then save to another cal. file, and maybe using ArgyllCMS command line embed that cal to a copy of your profile or some synth verison of its primaries & white.

But without measurements… it would a guess.

I have .ICC profile made from another user… i just want slightly less gamma than 2.4. 2.2  is washed out and 2.4 too dark, 2.3 would be balanced
