I was helping someone to install and run DisplayCal. He has an i1Display Pro. I have a Spyder 5.

When I first set up DisplayCal, I imported the corrections from my Datacolor software as the instructions suggest. I had him do the same with i1Profiler.

On my computer, I get the following Mode options:

    • Refresh (generic)
    • LCD (generic)
    • LCD CCFL
    • LCD CCFL Wide Gamut
    • LCD White LED
    • LCD RGB LED
    • LCD CCFL Type  2

However, when he looks at the Mode options, he only sees:

    • Refresh (generic)
    • LCD (generic)

Is this correct? I thought these options were consistent across devices and the corrections were there to create a better match of the sensor with the display type.

If he should only see two then that is fine, but my question would be where can I find documentation on what devices will see?

    Thank you!

Modes is a extremely limited selection for Spyders (all of them).
i1Displaypro users do not use modes, they use spectral corrections CCSS under “correction” combo:

Okay, thanks. I figured it was this but I wanted to verify.  I appreciate the help.
