Hi all,
I got a new monitor (Asus PA328CGV) and I’m pretty happy with the results I get at the end of the calibration process:
Average ∆E*76: 0.28
Maximun ∆E*76: 1.40
and pretty nice Gamut coverage (See attachment 1 for screenshot).
What baffles me is that if I run a Measurement Report on the newly installed profile, all of a sudden I get way worse results (see screenshot 2), like :
Average ∆E*00: 1.53
Maximun ∆E*00: 10.18
I’m aware that I can change the measurement from ΔE*00 to ΔE*76 in the report, but that doesn’t make the results pass the test.
I did a bunch of testing, checking the settings in the verification tab on and off (such as “simutaltion profile”, “use simulation profile as display profile”, “gamma curve: unmodified”). But the results are never good enough to get a “green check”.
What’s even more weird is that if I make a Measurement Report, maintaining the same settings but for another monitor (BenQ GW2780) the results are waaay more acceptable than the ones for the ASUS monitor ( see screenshot 3 ):
Average ∆E*00: 0.92
Maximun ∆E*00: 2.86
So I’m really confused as to what I’m doing wrong and what I need to do to make the results from verifying the asus monitor get closer to the ones I get with the calibrating process.
Looking forward to some suggestions,
Thank you all in advance
