I am having some strange behaviour after having generated a monitor profile on macOS Sierra (I know, old, but tied to PS CS6…)

When profile is installed, the app descriptions visible when howering over the dock get a beige or brown background, which also can occur in some other applications. Annoying, but acceptable. The profile does, however, also affect printing, and while the edit window in PS looks fine, the print preview shows an oversaturated and dark result – which The print also turns out as.
Selecting the standard macOS profile for the cinema display returns everything to normal, no odd background to texts, corrects prints…

What on earth is going on, how can a monitor profile change the way prints turn out??
