Does anyone else using Mac wish that the “Install Profile” function at end of profiling pass that allows the option of installing as a system or user account profile, would install into one of /Lib/Colorsync OR ~/Lib/Colorsync, but not both?
I put profiles in /Lib so they’re available to multiple users, and they also get installed in ~/Lib.
As the default naming scheme is necessarily elliptical (I realize I can configure naming in prefs) it feels crufty to have duplicate copies of obtusely named profiles in the tiny list under Displays > Color tab in System Preferences. So I have to go delete them from ~/Lib by hand; PITA
Not possible, as installing the profile just to /Library does not associate it to the display. Generally I would recommend against installing profiles to /Library, as there is no benefit whatsoever on single user systems.
